The Coaching Engagement:
A Comprehensive Breakdown
Part 1: Initial Targeting & Goals Setting

During this stage, we begin with a 1.5-hour session to define the client's vision as a future leader and identify 2-3 overarching goals to focus on throughout the coaching engagement. To gain further insight into areas for improvement, we may utilize specific assessments. Following the assessment, a debrief session will be conducted to reflect on the results and evaluate whether the initial goals need any modifications. A comprehensive action plan will be created, encompassing desired outcomes, measures of success, commitment levels, coaching approach, timeline, and preferred schedule.
Part 2: Coaching Engagement

Designed to facilitate progress, this phase involves virtual coaching sessions every 2 weeks, lasting 60 minutes each. These sessions provide a platform for clients to discuss their current challenges, explore skill development as future leaders, review progress, and challenge assumptions, beliefs, and thinking patterns. The client takes the lead in determining session topics based on their specific needs, questions, and desired outcomes. Throughout these sessions, the coach may provide models, resources, and techniques to support the client's journey. If necessary, additional assessments may be used to enhance awareness and development. A mid-term evaluation and an overall impact assessment are conducted to track progress and gauge the effectiveness of coaching.

Emotional Intelligence, Interpersonal Skills, Leadership Style, Effective Communication, Delegation Techniques, Decision Making, Giving and Receiving Feedback, Coaching Skills in Leadership (e.g., active listening, acknowledging, questioning...)
Part 3: Ongoing Coaching Engagement

Following the completion of the initial coaching engagement, clients have the option to continue working with the coach to address specific challenges encountered in their professional journey. The number of sessions is variable and tailored to the client's needs. Scheduling will be determined based on mutual availability and urgency, with each session billed separately.
Throughout the engagement, clients are encouraged to reflect on their development and utilize recommended resources in between sessions. To support continuous learning and growth, clients are welcome to reach out to the coach via email for any questions or clarifications.
Our coaching engagement consists of three distinct parts, providing a comprehensive framework for leadership development. By establishing clear goals, engaging in regular coaching sessions, and offering ongoing support, we aim to empower clients to achieve their potential and navigate the challenges of leadership with confidence and effectiveness.
